I started my career as a photographer more than 15 years ago. I completed my bachelors degree in photojournalism then set off to be a newspaper photographer in West Texas, covering everything from rodeos to former presidents. All those years of daily assignments really taught me how to connect with people and how to make authentic photographs of them.

I bring the same documentary approach to weddings as I do to my editorial work. I think it truly allows for candid moments to blossom and for couples and guests to enjoy each other.

My couples value photography, and want it to incorporate into their wedding day in a natural way. I pride myself on being able to make great photos, while not dominating the precious time that you could be spending with guests. On a personal note: When I’m not working, you can find me dinking around a pickle ball court, spending time with friends, and when the weather is nice, you can also catch me riding my bike around town.
